EVENDALE, OHIO – January 10, 2012 – AIR-TEC Aviation Maintenance has signed an agreement with GE Aviation to become an Authorized Service Center for the M601 and H80 turboprop engines. As part of the agreement, AIR-TEC will offer comprehensive line maintenance, removals and re-installations of engines and LRUs and engine spares for the M601 and H80 engine families. In addition, AIR-TEC will provide some on-wing heavy repairs and manage a pool of spare / rental engines for the African region. GE Aviation will provide AIR-TEC with comprehensive material support and training.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC -- December 13, 2011 – GE Aviation’s H80 turboprop engine has received type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) during a celebration in Prague in the Czech Republic. This is the first GE Aviation engine to receive its initial type certification from EASA.

KUNOVICE, CZECH REPUBLIC -- November 21, 2011—Aircraft Industries has completed the first flight test of the L410-UVP-E20 powered by two of GE’s H80 turboprop engines. The 40-minute flight occurred in Kunovice in the Czech Republic on November 16.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- October 9, 2011 -- Cutter Aviation, a leading business & general aviation services provider known throughout the southwest United States, has signed an agreement with GE Aviation to become an Authorized Service Center for GE’s M601 and H80 turboprop engines.

OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN – July 25, 2011 – GE Aviation has completed all engine certification testing, including design assurance, development, operability and environmental tests, for its new H80 turboprop engines.

ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA – June 16, 2011 – AG Aero, part of the AGA Group of Companies, known throughout Victoria and southern New South Wales for its reliable and efficient aerial agricultural application and maintenance capabilities, has signed an agreement with GE Aviation to become an Authorized Service Center for GE’s M601 and H80 turboprop engines in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines regions.

Smyrna, Tenn. – Smyrna Air Center has completed its first Power 90 Upgrade conversion for AeroMetric, one of the largest and most experienced full service geospatial solutions companies in the United States. GE Aviation’s M601E-11A engines are now powering AeroMetric’s King Air E-90 aircraft for their site in Anchorage, Alaska.
